Rodolfi Mansueto, the Emilian company specialized in tomato processing for over 125 years, achieved a turnover of 130 million euroThis is one of the best results of the last four years, with a growth which stood at around 86%, considering that in 2019 the company's turnover was around 70 million euros. The performance in production is also excellent: in 2023, in fact, Rodolfi Mansueto transformed over 270 thousand tons of fresh tomatoesranking among the 30 largest global producers with a consolidated presence in 80 countries and an export that sees Germany as the main destination market, followed by the USA, France and Canada.

From the harvesting of the tomato to its transformation, only a few hours pass: thanks to the short distance between the production plants and the over 400 growers, which does not exceed 60 kilometers. This peculiarity, in addition to ensuring high quality standards, expresses among other things the company's sustainable approach in terms of reducing the environmental impact related to transportation. Sustainable practices and the environment have always been at the center of Rodolfi Mansueto's values, from the reduction of emissions related to transportation and water consumption to attention to biodiversity, up to investments in the renewable energy sector.

Ortolina, passata and pulp: the most successful products on retail

The range Ortolina, which has already found its way into the hearts of consumers many years ago, remains one of the company's flagship products. The famous tube of tomato paste was born from an intuition of Rodolfi Mansueto who transformed a home recipe from 1936 into a product that is increasingly present in Italian kitchens today. In the 50s, in fact, Ortolina was among the first ready-made sauces to appear on the market, which with the slogan “the vegetable garden in the kitchen” invited to combine practicality and authenticity. Top-quality tomatoes, fresh vegetables and a drizzle of oil are the secret of the success of Ortolina, now also offered with a spicy taste. The line has been expanded over the years with the addition of different products and formats, to meet all consumer needs.  The classic puree is that rustic, the pulp – in pieces fine- together with the Double Concentrate complete the Ortolina range. The goodness and genuineness that have always distinguished the Ortolina brand have allowed the expansion to three references designed for the little ones: the Ortolina Kids line. A line of organic tomato and vegetable sauces created specifically to accustom children aged 4 and up to the taste of vegetables: sweet and velvety sauces, rich in 50% vegetables, gluten-free, preservative-free, colorant-free and additive-free.

At the same time, the Rodolfi brand is also experiencing great growth in foreign retail, especially in the North American market such as the USA and Canada.

The double concentrate, the passata, the peeled tomatoes and the specific pulps for pizza are also present in the pantries of the best Ho.re.ca. restaurants, especially thanks to the Marca Alpino and Ardita brands. Furthermore, three other lines dedicated to Food Service have been introduced in recent years: tomato sauce with vegetables, semi-dried tomatoes in the one kilo format and pizza sauce flavored under the Ardita brand.
