Sainsbury's opens its first airport store in Edinburgh

Sainsbury's has opened its first ever airport store inside Edinburgh Airport, as part of a major refresh of its formats which include food, drink and shopping for those passing through on their travels.

The store covers an area of ​​just over 200 square meters and is located immediately before the security checks. It will be open 24 hours a day and will have a staff of 26 members.

The opening of this store comes after the British retailer launched a programme to improve its convenience store range last October as part of a wider strategy to offer a superior shopping experience to its customers.
