Schär has introduced a new packaging for Panini Rolls, gluten-free grilled rolls, reducing the use of plastic by 30% compared to the previous version. The design has been optimized with a transparent window that makes the product visible and improves the communication of the main benefits, such as high fiber content, no preservatives and lactose, to meet the needs of gluten-free consumers.
The pack includes two 75g sandwiches, a portion designed to reduce food waste. This new format also aims to improve shelf space management, with a positive impact on product rotations in stores.
The company links this innovation to its commitment to sustainability, which extends to the promotion of agricultural biodiversity, the reduction of CO2 and the adoption of cleaner energy. Other areas of intervention include the reduction of non-recyclable materials in packaging and the implementation of corporate practices that favor inclusion and diversity.
