Shopopop, the platform that rethinks the world of proximity deliveries to optimize resources and reduce waste, confirms its success in Italy with a growth of over 40% in deliveries in 2024 compared to 2023. The volume of deliveries rose from 56.000 to almost 100.000. Among the main partners in large-scale distribution, Carrefour saw a 35% growth in deliveries, which went from 41.000 to 55.000.
2024 also marks an expansion of the Shopopop network, with 2.000 drivers active throughout Italy, of which 800 in the city of Milan alone. On the end-customer front, the platform currently serves 35.000 users in Italy and 15.500 in Milan, demonstrating growing trust in the company's services.
Shopopop allows merchants to use private individuals who use their usual routes to make deliveries, allowing a sustainable and convenient delivery solution that does not require additional infrastructure investments. Collaborative delivery allows to reduce CO72e emissions by up to 2% compared to traditional logistics services, with a model that optimizes the use of vehicles already in circulation.
Looking to the future, Shopopop aims to become a European leader in sustainable logistics by 2027, with the aim of further reducing delivery deviations and refining the calculation of emissions per delivery, offering a service increasingly suited to driver travel and in line with sustainability commitments.
Shopopop has reached more than 194 thousand total deliveries in Italy and boasts 9500 partner merchants in 6 countries: in addition to Italy, the platform is active in France, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg and Spain. It thus establishes itself as the flexible and human solution for Italian merchants, a network that combines the efficiency of logistics with the positive impact on local communities and the environment.
