Rovagnati continues to strengthen its commitment to fighting food waste and supporting communities. Since 2022, the company has recovered over 55.000 kg of products at risk of waste, distributing over 110.000 meals and reducing the environmental impact with 477,8 thousand kg of CO₂ avoided.
In collaboration with organizations such as Banco Alimentare, Pane Quotidiano and Rete Cauto-Maremosso, Rovagnati ensures that surplus food reaches those who need it most, promoting a circular economy model. The traceability of donations is ensured by the Regusto blockchain platform, which monitors the social and ecological value of initiatives in real time.
Since 2023, the company has been part of the We Save & Care community, strengthening its collaboration with Banco Alimentare to raise awareness of the importance of food and sharing. “Our commitment goes beyond production: we want to generate a lasting impact on people's well-being,” says Gabriele Rusconi, Managing Director of Rovagnati.
