Two Chicks, a British pioneer in the liquid egg white market, has announced the sale of a majority stake to European giant Eurovo Group for an undisclosed sum. The partnership marks an important step for both companies and opens up new growth prospects internationally.
Founded in 2007 by Anna Richey and Alla Ouvarova, Two Chicks created a new category in UK retail and is now the market leader, having doubled its turnover in the last two years. The company is present in all the major UK chains, from Tesco to Sainsbury's to Lidl, and exports to France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and the United Arab Emirates.
Eurovo, an Italian family-run company with a turnover of over 1,25 billion euros in 2024, boasts 28 factories and a network of 5.000 customers in more than 40 countries. The collaboration with Two Chicks dates back to 2015.
"We are thrilled to become part of the Eurovo family, which shares our values and passion," said founders Anna and Alla, who will remain at the helm of the company and will maintain a shareholding. "This partnership will allow us to expand our range and grow in foreign markets."
Federico Lionello, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer of Eurovo, said: «This acquisition is a milestone for both companies. We are delighted to enter the UK market with a strong and innovative brand like Two Chicks. Anna and Alla's continued involvement will be a great added value for our common future». The operation confirms Eurovo's interest in strengthening its presence in the European retail segment and promoting innovation in the egg products sector.
