There is an air of innovation within the walls of Valle Fiorita. After the positive conclusion of last year, 2024 opens with a positive trend that gives hope for the new strategies already implemented by the Apulian company for this year. “Although we too must face an inflationary crisis that is affecting the entire large-scale retail trade and consequently also us suppliers – says Francesco Galizia – we are in a growth phase. And it is with greater determination that we will focus on the new products that we have already launched at the Marca fair and that in our opinion can really constitute a new point of attraction for our consumers”.

Despite the uncertain times, Valle Fiorita continues to invest in new projects and new references.

This time taking a journey, already begun in the second half of last year, through Italian culinary traditions. “This journey starts with the two new references that we launched at the Marca fair: the Piedmontese pan and Tuscan schiacciata".

These are two products that are well known within their regions of origin, but are sporadically present in Italian Grade Distribution, and even less available abroad, but with very interesting potential for both markets. "Our goal is to develop these two products and bring them to the attention of Italian and international buyers - continues Galizia - to place them on the shelf as soon as possible, thus offering the final consumer products that represent the right combination of quality and innovation, while still remaining tied to tradition". An ambitious but more than realistic project that has been implemented by Valle Fiorita and whose effectiveness has already been demonstrated. The same strategy had in fact been applied for the widespread distribution of the puccia salentina, a key reference of Valle Fiorita, which has achieved great results.

A model that has further defined the identity of Valle Fiorita, bringing its typical features beyond the borders of Puglia.

The company now embraces specialties from other regions with the aim of expanding knowledge and tradition even outside of its places of origin.

All this is developing in a time of generalized crisis, in which uncertainty is however also accompanied by new opportunities. "We are certainly talking about a territory, the Italian one, which has the richest food and wine heritage in the world with a variety of culinary treasures mostly unknown to the general public - Galizia claims - Our aim is to bring them on a large scale as regards production, and consequently distribution. It is necessary to be able to respond to the numbers that the GDO requires, in fact the expansion of our production plants is aimed precisely at this, and we will continue along this line to meet the growing demand of the retailer. Our development obviously continues to contemplate the principle to which Valle Fiorita is closely linked: the very strong combination of tradition and innovation. We will go and discover these local specialities to which we will give our touch, our imprinting of value with a ? innovative".

It is therefore on this cornerstone that all Valle Fiorita references are developed, with the support of a highly advanced Research & Development department.

“Our products have always been created within our R&D department. This is because when we think of something new or rediscover a traditional Italian product that we want to present in a modern way, we have as our cornerstone theattention to the health of our consumers. In our team, in fact, there is an expert nutritionist in order to monitor the nutritional values and give the consumer a quality product, tasty and at the same time suitable for health.”
