A year of transition, but also of strategic investments and environmental goals. This is the 2025 balance sheet for Vinolok, a company specializing in the production of premium glass closures for the food and beverage industry, which closed the financial year with a turnover of €16,6 million, equivalent to CZK 410 million.
The figure shows an 11% decline compared to 2024, amid a continuing challenging environment for the global beverage and packaging markets. The results were impacted by challenging international demand and the stabilization of the company's distribution network and operating model.
Despite the decline in turnover, 2025 marked a year of industrial consolidation for Vinolok and the strengthening of its production structure. During the year, a total of 1.370 tons of glass were processed through four furnaces and several forming lines, a capacity that allowed for the production of 25 different closure shapes and 14 interchangeable decorative variants.
These numbers confirm the company's commitment to customization and premium design, elements increasingly sought after by wine, spirits, and specialty food producers who aim to stand out on the shelves through their packaging.
Particular attention was also paid to production efficiency, with a consolidation process aimed at improving long-term competitiveness and strengthening the company's position in international markets.
On the environmental front, sustainability continues to be one of the group's key strategic assets. The glass used in production comes from high-quality quartz sand mined just a few kilometers from the plant in North Bohemia, promoting a short supply chain and reducing logistical impact.
The company has also achieved significant progress in terms of the circular economy, reusing 99% of the glass waste generated during the production process. This approach reduces waste and CO₂ emissions, contributing to improved environmental performance.
2025 also saw Verallia's CIRCPACK by Verallia achieve the "Ready to Recycle" certification, a recognition that certifies the full recyclability of Vinolok glass closures and their compliance with circularity principles. This achievement strengthens the company's position in the segment of single-material and recyclable packaging solutions.
With its production facility in Crystal Valley, in the Jizera Mountains of the Czech Republic, Vinolok combines the region's historic glassmaking tradition with cutting-edge industrial technologies. With over twenty years of experience, the company now aims to continue its growth through innovation, sustainable development, and production efficiency, aiming to further consolidate its presence in the international premium packaging markets.
