A new generational transition at Rizzoli Emanuelli. The Parma-based canned fish company has announced the appointment of Francesco Rizzoli as Sales Director, giving him a strategic role in the future development of the company, founded in 1906 and now in its fifth generation. This appointment marks the culmination of a professional journey that began in 2015 and was built entirely within the company. Francesco Rizzoli has gained experience in various operational areas, from logistics to warehousing, from back office sales to sales operations, and even the development of new business divisions. "I didn't have any fast-track positions," explains Francesco Rizzoli, "but I started in the warehouse, experiencing the pace of logistics firsthand and then moving through the various corporate functions. This experience now allows me to have a comprehensive view of the company and develop integrated strategies that leverage all of the company's assets."
The new sales director will be responsible for further strengthening the brand's positioning, focusing on sustainable and structured growth. Among the objectives outlined are improving internal efficiency, consolidating leadership in the anchovy, tuna, and mackerel segments in large-scale retail, and developing new market channels, particularly the out-of-home segment. Intergenerational dialogue will play a central role in the new phase. Massimo Rizzoli, the company's president, will continue to lead the general management and production, assisting his son in defining commercial strategies.
"It's a relay race we all run together," emphasizes Francesco Rizzoli, "in a daily exchange of different experiences and visions, with the goal of combining tradition and innovation." According to the manager, the company's growth also depends on the value of human relationships. In an environment increasingly characterized by digital communications, Francesco Rizzoli emphasizes the importance of direct contact with customers, partners, and collaborators, considering it a fundamental element for building solid and lasting relationships.
President Massimo Rizzoli also expressed his satisfaction: "Seeing my son take over the commercial management role today is a source of great pride. He has built his career with humility, dedication, and a practical approach, mastering every area of the company and developing the skills necessary for this role." With this appointment, Rizzoli Emanuelli confirms its commitment to enhancing family continuity, maintaining its historic roots while preparing for a new phase of development in an increasingly competitive market.
