Céréal launches gluten-free Madeleines, a version of the traditional French sweet treat designed for those seeking gluten-, milk-, and lactose-free snacks. Part of the brand's dedicated line, the product features the brand's signature shell shape, a soft texture, and a sweet, delicate flavor.

The recipe uses rice flour, along with potato starch and rice starch, while other ingredients include eggs, sugar, and 17,4% high oleic sunflower oil. The formula also includes dextrose, glucose syrup, vegetable glycerin, guar gum, lecithins, and leavening agents.

Madeleines are advertised as a source of fiber and, according to the brand, are made with only natural flavors. The absence of gluten, milk, and lactose defines the product's profile, bringing a recognizable French pastry shape to the gluten-free snack segment, perfect for breakfast or a break throughout the day.

The new packaging also includes seven individually wrapped Madeleines. This solution allows you to eat one sweet at a time and carry it with you, without having to open all the portions in the box. This format is therefore ideal for eating on the go, from a break at the office to a snack, and can also be enjoyed with a cup of tea.

The proposal focuses on two elements: a reference to a traditional specialty and a formulation designed to meet specific dietary needs. The shell shape maintains its connection to classic Madeleines, while rice flour is one of the main ingredients of the gluten-free dough.

Regarding allergens, the recipe contains eggs, and the label warns of the possible presence of soy and tree nuts. This information should be considered when choosing a product, along with the information regarding the absence of gluten, milk, and lactose.

With this product, Céréal confirms its presence in the gluten-free snack segment, offering a single-portion dessert that combines a traditional French format with the convenience of everyday consumption.
