La Doria is accelerating its industrial development with an investment plan exceeding €100 million for the two-year period 2025-2026. The Campania-based group, one of Europe's leading producers of private label food specialties, aims to consolidate the growth achieved through a series of strategic acquisitions and strengthen its production capacity.
After investing approximately €45 million in 2025, up from €30 million the previous year, the company plans to allocate an additional €60 million in 2026. The resources will be used to integrate recently acquired companies, improve plant efficiency, and support the expansion of production volumes.
Over the past two years, the group has completed a significant external growth phase through the acquisitions of Clas, the private label division of Pastificio Di Martino, Pasta Lensi, and the manufacturing and logistics operations of Feger and Sapori del Sole. These acquisitions have allowed the group to expand its product portfolio, entering the pasta sector, and double the number of production facilities, from six to twelve in five Italian regions.
Further strengthening the international presence was the creation of Windoria, a joint venture resulting from the union of La Doria's operations in Italy with those of Winland Foods in the United States.
“The acquisition cycle carried out between 2024 and 2025 represented a decisive step in the evolution of the group,” declared President and CEO Antonio Ferraioli, underlining how the investment plan is aimed at integrating new industrial realities and supporting future growth.
Projects already completed include new tomato processing lines at the Fisciano plant, a pasta packaging line in Salerno, a new painting line in Angri for the in-house production of cans and lids, and the expansion of the Parma plant for basil processing for pesto.
The 2026 program includes further expansions. A new canning line will come online in Angri, increasing production capacity by 250 million units per year, bringing the total to 1,2 billion units. New tomato processing plants are also planned at the Angri, Fisciano, and Lavello plants, a labeling line in Chiusanico, a new packaging line in Fara d'Adda, and new investments in ready-made sauces and basil processing in Parma.
At the same time, La Doria continues to invest in environmental sustainability. In 2025, a heat recovery plant was installed in Angri and new photovoltaic systems were installed in Chiusanico, Lavello, and Fisciano. In 2026, the program will continue with additional photovoltaic panels in Pastorano and Lavello and the installation of new high-efficiency boilers at the Ligurian plant in Chiusanico.
With a 2025 turnover of €1,375 billion, approximately 90% of which will be generated through private labels in large-scale national and international retail, La Doria aims to further strengthen its position in the European market for canned foods and long-life Italian specialties.
