Le Conserve della Nonna is expanding its ready-to-eat legume offering with the launch of Fagioli alla Messicana (Mexican-Style Beans), a new 360-gram product scheduled for production in November 2026. This product is part of the brand's innovation journey, catering to consumers' growing interest in ethnic flavors and international cuisine, without sacrificing the convenience of ready-to-eat preparations.
The new offering draws inspiration from South American culinary tradition and combines black beans, bell peppers, cumin, and chili pepper, creating a recipe with an intense and spicy flavor profile. The goal is to offer an alternative to more traditional legume preparations, offering a solution that can be used both as a ready-made dish and as an ingredient in more elaborate recipes.
Mexican Beans are designed for a variety of eating occasions, from a side dish to a main course, to the preparation of specialties inspired by international cuisine. This versatility meets the demand for products that simplify kitchen tasks, reducing preparation time and expanding the possibilities of using legumes in everyday diets.
Particular attention was paid to the recipe, which features a simple list of ingredients, free from flavor enhancers, aromas, thickeners, or acidifiers. This choice aims to enhance the flavor of the raw materials and respond to consumer interest in products with simple and recognizable formulations.
The packaging also contributes to the positioning of the new product, which will be marketed in a 360-gram glass jar, a solution that allows the contents and characteristics of the product to be clearly visible.
With this introduction, Le Conserve della Nonna strengthens its presence in the ready-to-eat vegetable market, combining traditional Italian products with a selection inspired by international tastes.
The brand is part of the Fini Group, a wholly Italian subsidiary of Holding Carisma, which also includes the historic Fini fresh pasta brand. The group, born from the original delicatessen founded in Modena in 1912, now has over 100 employees and exports its products to 30 countries. Le Conserve della Nonna offers a range of purees, sauces, condiments, and jams, with products inspired by the gastronomic traditions of various Italian regions.
