Esselunga opens today in Cortina d'Ampezzo the new store "Leeccellenza", a format that combines quality and innovation, already tested in the center of Milan. Located in via Cesare Battisti, the store extends over a surface of 250 square meters, offering a wide range of products, from food and wine to the fine pastry Elisenda, created in collaboration with the starred restaurant Da Vittorio.
Among the proposals, over 60 types of cheeses, 50 gastronomic specialties and a selection of local and international cured meats. For those looking for ready meals, the “Cucina Esselunga” line is available with over 250 seasonal recipes, including typical dishes such as casunziei all'ampezzana and speck d'Ampezzo.
The pastry shop offers a wide selection of desserts, from classics like tiramisu and profiteroles to traditional Christmas sweets. The wine shop offers around 400 labels, with a vault dedicated to fine wines and a sommelier to guide customers. The online service enoteca.esselunga.it is also active, with a selection of 2.500 labels and deliveries throughout Italy. A distinctive element of the shop is the café with kitchen, which offers 40 seats and seasonal menus ranging from breakfast to aperitif.
Adjacent to the store, from 2025, “Casa Esselunga” will be inaugurated, a multifunctional space that will accompany Cortina to the 2026 Olympics.
