Costco continues to maintain its strong momentum, closing out June with strong growth in both sales and comparable performance. The U.S. wholesale distribution giant reported revenue of $29,24 billion for the five-week period ended July 5, 2026, up 10,6% from $26,44 billion in the same period the previous year.
The results for the first 44 weeks of the fiscal year also show a favorable trend. Net sales reached $250,43 billion, up 10,1% from the $227,46 billion recorded in the same period of 2025.
Comparable sales confirm the strength of the business. In June, the United States increased by 10,6%, Canada by 3,7%, and other international markets by 4,7%, bringing the company's overall growth to 8,8%.
The digital channel, which continues to be one of the group's main drivers of growth, performed even better. Online sales increased by 20,9% in the month-to-month period and by 21,5% since the beginning of the year.
Excluding the effects of fuel price changes and currency exchange rates, comparable sales growth remains strong. Globally, the increase stood at 7% for the month and 6,7% for the first 44 weeks, reflecting continued robust demand in the brand's main markets.
In conjunction with the earnings release, the Board of Directors approved a quarterly dividend of $1,47 per share. Payment will be made on August 7th to shareholders of record as of the close of business on July 24th.
Costco also continues to strengthen its international presence. The network currently includes 933 warehouses, including 641 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 115 in Canada, 43 in Mexico, 37 in Japan, 29 in the United Kingdom, 20 in South Korea, 15 in Australia, 14 in Taiwan, seven in China, five in Spain, three in France, two in Sweden, and one each in Iceland and New Zealand.
The group also continues to invest in e-commerce, which operates in numerous international markets and is increasingly strategic for supporting sales growth. The results confirm Costco's ability to maintain above-average growth rates for the industry, despite a global economic environment characterized by inflation, market volatility, geopolitical tensions, and uncertainties related to trade tariffs. The combination of physical network development, digital growth, and member loyalty continues to support the company's expansion.
