Normal accelerates its expansion in the Italian market and lands in Milan. After opening the first two stores in Rome last March, the Danish retail chain announces the inauguration of a new store of almost 400 square meters at the Milanofiori shopping center, scheduled for Wednesday 28 May at 9 am. A second store is also planned in the Lombardy capital by the summer, confirming the confidence in the potential of the Italian market.
Founded in 2013, Normal now operates over 850 stores in 9 European countries – including Denmark, France, Spain and now Italy – with around 13.700 employees. “Italy is becoming increasingly important in our expansion plan and these new openings are aimed at strengthening our presence in Southern Europe,” said Jesper Brask Laumann, Country Manager of Normal for Italy. “The first results in Rome have exceeded expectations, demonstrating that the meeting between Normal and Italian consumers is truly a winning one.”
The Normal store format stands out for its eclectic and constantly updated assortment: over 4.000 products including personal care items, cosmetics, snacks, products for the home, school, office and even pet food, with over 100 new products introduced every week. The brands on the shelves include well-known names such as L'Oréal, Gillette, Nescafé and Kinder, but also exclusive brands available only in Normal stores.
Making the shopping experience even more engaging is the “labyrinthine” layout of the stores, designed to stimulate the customer’s curiosity and transform each visit into a real treasure hunt. With the opening in Milanofiori, Normal confirms its desire to consolidate its presence in Italy and intercept a clientele that is increasingly attentive to convenience without sacrificing quality and surprise.
