Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) opens two new restaurants in Italy on December 18: one in Anzio (Lazio) and one in Maida (Calabria). These openings bring the brand's network to 114 restaurants distributed in 16 Italian regions. The three-year development plan includes doubling the presence on the national territory.

The Anzio restaurant, managed by the AG Fast Food franchisee, is located in via Nettunese, near the sea and the Basilica of Santa Teresa. The structure includes a surface area of 230 square meters with 75 seats in total between inside and outside. It is equipped with a digital Drive-Thru lane, which allows electronic orders and payments directly from the totem. The Drive-Thru is a strategic element for KFC, which aims to include it in 30% of new openings. The operation creates 21 new jobs.

In Maida, the new restaurant is located in the Due Mari shopping center, a central location near Lamezia Terme. Managed by the franchisee T-Fried Chicken, it occupies a space of 148 square meters inside the food court. The restaurant guarantees an omnichannel dimension thanks to ordering options at the cash register, via digital kiosks or through the official app with the “Click & Collect” service. The opening leads to the creation of 20 jobs.
