Aldi, part of the Aldi Sud Group, is opening three new stores on December 12, 2024 in Calolziocorte (LC), Lentate sul Seveso (MB) and Vignola (MO), strengthening its presence in Northern Italy. With these openings, the company reaches 190 stores operating since 2018. The new stores, with an average surface area of approximately 900 m², combine Made in Italy quality, convenience and sustainability, responding to the needs of modern consumers.
ALDI stands out for its “Aldi Price”, a philosophy based on a compact and complete offer that focuses on quality and speed of shopping, with a focus on Italian origin. In fact, approximately 80% of food products come from collaborations with Italian agricultural companies.
Each new store is equipped with photovoltaic systems for the production of renewable energy and charging stations for electric cars. In Calolziocorte (LC), the 896 m² store integrates a 100 kWp photovoltaic system and offers 84 free parking spaces, including some dedicated to disabled people and new parents. In Lentate sul Seveso (MB), the store extends over 1.055 m² with energy class A+++, an 80,75 kWp system and a cycle/pedestrian path next to a redeveloped green area with 42 trees. In Vignola (MO), the sales area is 778 m² with a 60,3 kWp photovoltaic system and 45 free parking spaces.
With these openings, the company creates 46 new jobs, bringing the total number of employees in Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna to 1.608.
