A new space dedicated to coffee culture opens in the heart of Bologna's historic center. Essse Caffè has announced the renovation of its store at Via Galliera 18/B, transforming it into an experiential hub open to the city and designed as a place for meeting, discovery, and sharing. The official inauguration is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, with a morning of events and activities open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The new concept aims to enhance the world of coffee through sensory journeys, tastings, and in-depth learning opportunities for both enthusiasts and families.
The space, one of the Bolognese brand's iconic landmarks, has been reimagined with a contemporary feel that blends design and conviviality, aiming to offer an immersive experience combining tasting and product knowledge. Among the scheduled events is a welcome breakfast created by master pastry chef Sebastiano Caridi, the protagonist of a program designed to guide the public in their discovery of the various nuances of coffee.
Coffee experiences will also be organized throughout the day, by reservation, featuring guided tastings and a deeper understanding of the aromatic characteristics of the blends, as well as sensory activities designed to engage both adults and children. With this initiative, Essse Caffè further strengthens its ties with Bologna and invests in a format that aims to transform the traditional point of sale into a cultural and experiential space. The goal is to create a place capable of presenting coffee not only as a consumer product, but also as a means of socializing, research, and tradition.
