Polti, leader in steam applications for cleaning and ironing, closed 2023 with over 60 million euros in revenues, returning to profitability levels prior to the war in Ukraine and the increase in energy costs. Gross operating margin (EBITDA) stood at 2,5 million euros. President and CEO Francesca Polti explained how the company has adopted a series of strategic measures, including realignment of price lists and investments in production processes according to the principles of Lean Manufacturing, in addition to the launch of new products in sectors such as kitchen and food & beverage.
Polti maintained its leadership in the steam cleaning market in Italy, France and Spain and in steam irons in Italy. Growth was also supported by the bed bug epidemic in France, which drove demand for the Polti Cimex Eradicator, a key product for the professional segment. In 2024, geographic expansion will be a priority, with particular attention to the United Kingdom, Germany and other European and non-European markets.
Participation in IFA, the international consumer electronics fair, strengthened Polti's global presence, highlighting its commitment to geographic expansion and technological innovation. This consolidated the company's competitiveness in European markets, creating new opportunities for global growth.
On the new products front, Polti has introduced the “Polti Coffea” and “SOLO” lines for the coffee market. This strategic expansion responds to the growing demand for high-quality coffee, improving the consumer experience. Polti Coffea espresso machines enhance the unique aromas of SOLO pods, made with fine single origins.
The company, faithful to its values of innovation, sustainability and respect, continues to invest in research and development, offering advanced and sustainable solutions. The goal is to improve the daily lives of customers and reduce environmental impact.
