The Arena Group continues its expansion with the opening of the 35th SuperConveniente store in Avola, in Via Caduti di Nassirya. With over 190 stores in Sicily and Calabria, the company strengthens its presence in south-east Sicily, focusing on innovation, sustainability and enhancement of the territory.
The new store extends over a sales area of 1.500 m7 and offers customers a modern shopping experience, with 4 traditional checkouts, 230 self-service checkouts and a large car park with XNUMX spaces, including spaces for electric charging. Particular attention has been paid to energy efficiency, with photovoltaic systems, LED lighting and eco-sustainable refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

The official inauguration was attended by institutional representatives, including the Hon. Luca Cannata and the Mayor of Avola, Rossana Cannata. On this occasion, the Group reaffirmed its commitment to the territory, contributing to the urban redevelopment of the area by resurfacing the road, improving public lighting and creating new road accesses.
With this opening, 55 new employees were hired, reinforcing the company's commitment to creating stable jobs. The store is open daily from 8:00 to 21:00, offering continuous service to the community.
After Avola, the Arena Group's expansion plan will continue in the coming months with the opening of a new SuperConveniente in Lascari (PA), with the aim of reaching the 200th point of sale by 2025.
