The Illy family has completed the process of reorganizing its corporate structure with the modification of the ownership structure of Holding Illy SpA, the parent company that controls IllyCaffè. Daria Illy is leaving the group, having sold her share of approximately 19% of the capital to the subholding Gruppo Illy SpA, already controlled by Andrea Illy and Anna Illy.
The transaction represents the final step in a process that began in 2021, with the aim of rationalizing governance and promoting both the Group's development and the individual aspirations of its members. The sale thus consolidates the parity of family management between Andrea and Anna Illy, strengthening the continuity of their entrepreneurial commitment.
Daria Illy, after more than 16 years of activity within the Group and after having previously left every operational role, gratefully says goodbye to the family business to undertake new professional challenges, both in Italy and abroad.
